… Because we all have opinions.

New York Mets Create History

8020 games later, the Mets finally have a No-Hitter!

Johan Santana of the New York Mets yesterday completed what many baseball fans were starting to think was impossible…. He threw the first ever No-Hitter for the New York Mets.

In what turned out to the longest start of his fledging career, Santana threw a total of 134 pitches and helped the impressive Mets record an 8-0 win over the reigning World Series champion, St Louis Cardinals.

The closing stages and wild scenes which followed were similar to that of a team who'd just won the World Series;
